After knowing me his whole life, he knows what insults me the most

You know you must have done something to make your little brother feel the need to insult you (though, for a ten-year-old, there doesn't have to be a reason) when you come home from babysitting at midnight and find a note on your bed that reads,

The baby is going to like ME better than YOU!!!!

You have to be the most hilarious, culturally aware, best writing teenager I've ever heard of. I connected with your blog through the CHSFS ethiopia forum and whenever I check out your blog I am so impressed and always laugh. You have a great writing inspire me to put together a blog...though I can't figure out how to make it 'look' good. My husband and I are also adopting from Ethiopia (an infant, no gender preference) through CHSFS. I'm looking forward to keeping up with your blog, and I can't believe you're next in line! Congrats.

Wow, those are quite some compliments! Thanks!

I made my blog through and it was incredibly easy- and free. I found my blog template just by doing a google search for "free blog templates." If you do decide to make a blog- and I think that you should, if you want to- I'd read it every day!

Good luck to you too!

I love your blog! I just found it this evening and I am absolutely astounded by your writing and insight. I hope that I can raise my daughter to be as culturally aware and tuned in with the world as you appear to be. I'll be following along as your family continues the journey to your sibling in Ethiopia.

Yes, I would love to read your blog, if or when you start one!

Thank you- I know that being a mom is hard work, but I hope that I'll be a good one someday. And yes, I will definetely adopt kids- I hope to have, just like my family now, a mix of children both biological and adopted!
