The new center of the universe
It's funny how suddenly, everything seems to revolve around the new little one coming. We recently got a new car- today, in fact- a shiny red Toyota Sienna. It's a luxury I must say (GPS system, DVD player, the works) though I know we'll get used to it fast! Anyway, when we were looking for cars last Saturday all we could think about was baby, baby, baby. This is great for the baby...well, we'll need this for the baby...I guess the baby will sit here. The reason we got the new car wasn't because of the baby though. In a nutshell, my dad left our old van (a Town&Country, also red) in neutral in the driveway, and went inside. When he came back, the car was gone. Turns out, it had rolled backward down the driveway, tipped over the hill, and rolled down into the neighbors' yard, breaking the fence. Fortunately no one was in the car or driveway; unfortunately, we had to get a tow truck to pull it out, and we learned the car was totalled. Of course, all of this occured the one weekend of the year my mom was out of town. That aside, we can now focus (almost) all of our attention on our new little one. That is, as long as we keep a careful eye on our new car...
